Calcland

Most of the game system is the same as TacticalNexus, but this game is serialized and each scenario is bought by paying for it.
(This system is similar to the system of purchasing manga one episode at a time on the Internet.)
The game is not priced abnormally like TacticalNexus, and the difficulty level tends to be much easier than hardcore.
(The current plan is to purchase the main stage of Tactical tower D for about $0.5~$1.0 per stage.)

The problem is that there is a clear storyline compared to TacticalNexus and also, unusually for Team-Nexus' work, the main character has a clear intention (the main character is not mute).
(The translation cannot be done in a cursory manner, and the protagonist has by far the strongest tendency to be unsympathetic.
Apparently, Team-Nexus' Tower of the sorcerer-like games are flawed in some way every time.)

About the Scenario

The story depicts a world several hundred years before the world of TacticalNexus ("Original").
The numbers are in chronological order "in the game world".
However, each information is disclosed in order from the top to the bottom.
(Players will grasp the truth of the game world from the order of the numbers above.)

*As usual, the translation is very difficult to read because it is translated using translation software!

6: The setting is an island called "calcland".
Plot (the main character), a small squirrel boy, Alpha, a raccoon boy, and Beta, a hawk girl, were living in a forest.
One day, Beta is attacked and injured by a bear that lives in the forest.
Alpha is forced to nurse Beta, and Plot tries to find medicinal herbs, but the forest is full of ferocious animals and he cannot find them.
(Each animal in the forest has its own territory, and it was difficult for Plot to get out of the territory with his own strength.)

Plot, walking through the forest in search of a way to help Beta, meets Take, a carbuncle girl.
Take tells Plot that she can "help Plot's cause."
She gives him an item to check his opponent's ability and a device to rewind time: the Restarter.
Plot has no idea why Taker would want to help her, but Plot takes the two tools in stride and uses the Calicuradar to find out who she can beat.
He uses the Calcradar to defeat opponents he can beat, obtain supplies, defeat the tiger guarding the medicinal herbs, and heal Beta's injured body.

The game series: calcland tells the story of Plott, who uses his combat predictor, the Calcradar,
and his time-reversing Lister to conquer various locations and solve problems wherever he goes, accompanied by Take and Alpha ,Beta.

7: In the forests of calcland, there is a town where various animals live together, and those that have their own territory in the forest are called strays.
In fact, most of the animals are already living in the city, and those who are still living as strays tend to be in a very tight living situation.
(The reason why they keep everyone but themselves away from their own territory is to secure food.)

Plot, who is rapidly gaining strength, goes around the forest and defeats the strays who have their own territory.
Plot goes around the forest, defeating strays who have their own territory, and encourages those who are at their wit's end to come to his forest home or to go to the city.

Alpha, the inventor, develops tools to help the plot wherever he goes.
Beta manages the food and other needs of the plots in the forest house, their base of operations.
Take comes to live with Plot in the forest house and follows him on his adventures.

Alpha wonders if Plott, who was once an outcast in the city, would recommend the city to him.
When Alpha asks Plot about this, Plot replies, "Stray people can't survive the winter.

2: More than a decade ago, an intense cold wave called "winter" hit the forest.
(It is implied in the scenario that most of the animals could not survive it.)
The town is a mechanism built to survive the winter, and calcland is experiencing a harbinger of "winter's arrival" in the near future.

8: The goal of the plot is to help more animals survive the "winter.
As his fighting ability increases, Plott becomes more aggressive in his attempts to destroy the animal's territory and either drive them back to the city or provide protection for them in his forest home.
At the beginning of the story, Plott never matched Alpha or Beta in power, but over time, Plott became the most powerful fighter of them all.

As Plott gains power, he no longer borrows power from Alpha and Beta, and the two grow to miss each other.
Take asks Plot to take him to a certain place when he has enough power.
Plot takes Take with him, while Alpha and Beta are told to wait for him at his house in the forest, but they insist on following Plot and his friends.

1: The planet on which calcLAND is set was actually artificially created decades ago by aliens (humans) who brought cultural development to the planet in exchange for ethical values.
The planet is full of orphaned human "testers" who are sent here to spend their lives as animals, the inhabitants of the city, with their memories erased and disguised.
Terraforming and time manipulation are commonplace technologies for the planet's inhabitants, and the planet was created for fun in the first place.
(This is only described in fragments.)

While Take is an orphan, his memory has not been erased, and he is a "debugger" who has been given equipment and a base of operations to manage this planet.
He was transferred to this planet on the condition that he could return to his original planet if he could make the inhabitants of this planet prosper.
Take desperately tries to protect the inhabitants of calcland.
However, the aliens created the "winter" system on this planet just for fun, in order to thin out the population that cannot survive the "winter.

3: Furthermore, several years after the planet of calcLAND was created, communication with the aliens who managed the planet of calcLAND was cut off.
Impatiently, Take went to check on calcland in "winter" using a teleporter that could move to any location, but the communication was cut off.
The teleporter can be moved to any location, but the communication breakdown prevents Take from returning from calcland to Debugger's base headquarters.

At this time, Take, who was lost, had been saved by Plott (Plott had forgotten).
In return, Plot shares Debugger's "Blessing of Immortality" with Take, who manages to get to a forest near Debugger's base.

Take manages to return to one of Debugger's strongholds near the forest, where he retrieves his tools, including a restarter and calcradar, and at the same time, he is safe.
Meanwhile, unable to return to Debugger's base in the far distance, Take is stranded in calcland, hoping to return to the world he came from.

5: Those who survived the first "winter" left the city because they could not bear to remain in the city where the memories of their friends and family remained.
However, Plot attempts to continue the legacy of his friends by rebuilding the city again.

The creatures from the areas less affected by "Winter" moved to the city due to lack of food.
Soon, the town regained the vitality it had before the winter arrived.
However, it is still unable to overcome the winter.

Plot sounds an alarm to the people of the town, who are almost satisfied with the status quo, but no one there knows the threat of "winter".
Plot, in his childish form, has no leadership skills, and his words and actions are unconvincing.
Those who are alienated from Plot, who has no power and can only give directions, gradually develop antipathy toward him.

Seeking resources and more power to survive the winter, Plot decides to leave the city by himself and set up a base of operations in a forest house, where everyone can live.
But for Alpha and Beta, Plott is their foster parent and their family.
Alpha knew that he was really a liability to Plott.
Beta was anxious and afraid of Plott, who was friendly but never showed a smile.
Still, they could not stay away from the plot.

9: Now overwhelmed by Plott (Plott's equivalent of adult power), Take returns to Debugger's base headquarters.
There, Plott and Alpha,Beta make, for the first time, the truth about calcland and this planet.

And after trying various methods at the base headquarters, Take learns that this planet was beamed far away from the aliens' planet.
For some reason, the planet was abandoned, its inhabitants and all.

Teik breaks down in tears as he realizes that he will never be able to return to his home world.
Beta is furious to learn that the existence of "winter" was artificial.
Alpha despairs of their future on the abandoned planet, abandoned by the administrators.
The plot, however, is consistently indifferent and uninterested in this fact.

In Take's absence, Alfa and the others ask Plot why he is so indifferent to these matters.
Plott replies that it was somewhat predictable, and that the chaperoning of the take was just a side trip to pass the time in the first place.
Plott says that what he needs is absolute power and "reserves" to survive, and that he is not interested in anything else.
Plot tells the stunned Alphas that it is time for them to go back to the forest town where they used to live.

Plot, who for some reason never grew into adulthood, has gained the power to be alone, thanks to the power of the Restarter and Calcradar.
Plot has gained the power he should have had, and the Alpha are no longer able to match him.

4: Plot is a survivor of the first "winter," and Alpha and Beta are more than a decade younger than Plot.
Plot, who survived the first winter, was taking care of the young Alphas at the time.

Before the first winter, Plott, with his high intelligence, showed great leadership skills and established the city's structure with his friends at that time.
The young Plot was the hope of the future for his friends, and Plot and his friends looked to him to lead them as an adult.

With plenty of food and supplies, the town grew larger and larger, and just when everyone was sure there was peace, "winter" arrived.
The parents of Alfa, who had shared various skills with Plott, did not survive the winter.
Beta's parents, whom Plott loved like family, also did not survive the winter.
Apart from Plott, the only survivors were large, sturdy creatures and those who lived in areas less affected by winter.

Those who didn't survive the winter all entrusted their futures to Plot.
They said, "If you are "prot", you will do your best to build a town that can definitely survive the next winter."
"If Plot is a grown-up and bigger than he is now, he can do all the heavy lifting."
"The body has only stopped growing for now, but it will grow up soon."

Plot, who has lost everything, stands up again. In order to live up to the expectations of his lost friends.
Plot, who has lost his friends, never smiles again, and becomes extremely obsessed with getting through the winter.

10: Alpha does his best to defy Plott, who urges him to return to the city.
But Alpha, who has been called powerful and strong, is no longer a match for Plott, who has reached his true "adult" level of strength through the caliculaders.
The alphas are shown to no longer be able to even help Plott.

Plot asks, "Do you still want to stay with us?" Alphas reply, "Even if we can't help you, we want to stay with you.
Plot replies, "Then it's up to the Alphas. Plot acknowledges the Alphas and begins to tell the three, including Take, about the old days.

Plot liked his friends before they went over 'winter' and he always had a smile on his face in the city with his friends.
Plot didn't want to stop the friends who didn't make it through the winter, the things they built, the skills they pieced together.
The truth is, he didn't love the town or "being the leader," he loved those friends who built it together.
He wanted to live up to their expectations and make them proud.

Plot's desire not to create others who will suffer as they did is true, but on the other hand, Plot's thoughts turn to the past and to those who are no longer with us.
He wants to pass on the skills of those who did not make it through the winter and preserve the proof of their lives, but Plot is still obsessed with the past.
Prot wanted the Alphas, who had inherited their parents' talents, to be free to look to the future.
Prot didn't want to take them into the painful world of Plot.

But Alphas are grown, and their childhood is almost over.
Plot says that he thinks Alphas should be free to follow him.

After giving Plot the "Blessing of Immortality," Take realizes that he has caused Plot pain, and he apologizes.
Plot replies that he never grew up to be an adult, but that this is the way he used to look with his old friends, and he has feelings for them, so he is fine with that.

11: Plot and his friends continue their adventures and visit the large animals that survived the "winter.
Plot and his former friends are upset when Plot appears looking exactly the same as he did more than a decade ago.
When they see Alpha and Beta, they shed tears when they realize that the children of their friends are still alive.

The survivors of the friends who were separated return to the town, and the residents learn the truth about "winter" that the plot failed to convey.
The residents feel a sense of crisis and begin to make preparations to survive the winter.
By the time the strays all gather in town, the town has grown dozens of times larger than it was before the winter.

Plot's former friends in town suggest that he move back to town from his house in the forest.
Plot hesitated for a while, but accepted the proposal, and Plot and his friends returned to the town.

 Then winter came.
The winter was more intense than before, but the town built by Plott and his friends was sturdy enough to continue life in the winter.
On a winter morning, the four Plotts walked outside in the winter, but the residents of the city seemed to be doing just fine.

12: Plot talk to the Take and the alphas.

In truth, he thought it was impossible to call all the strays to the city.
He thought it would be enough to invite some of the strays to the city, and if they could survive, that would be enough.
He thought that was all he could do.

But thanks to Take's presence, we were able to rescue all the strays.
Thanks to the Alphas, I was able to continue this fight.
I have been looking to the past, but from now on I will look to the future.
Plott thanked them with a smile.

By the time they returned to the town house, Plott and the others were a little cold.
Take said, "In the cold winter, let's warm each other up.
The four of them huddled together and waited for winter to break.
